CD Description
After a year's rest, Power Station has finally come out with a new album! Sony Records has been hard at work with the production of "Ninth Time on Chung-Hsiao East Road." To speed up the release, staff and consultants even returned to work early after Chinese New Year's! The duo that remade old classics "Desert of Passion" and "Pear Mountain Devoted Flower" into big hits, chose, this time, to reinterpret "Drunken Tango." Their superb performance will surely give new meaning to this great oldie.
The most noticeable difference in this album is that Power Station, for the first time, attempts a Taiwanese-dialect track, "If I Never Loved You." For two guys who don't know how to speak the language, this is quite a challenge. They actually had to use phonetics to get the pronunciation right! Let's not let their hard work go to waste.
As for the style, they've moved away from their heavy-metal look of the past and instead chosen a softer style. You'll see a new side of Power Station you've never seen before!
