"Amour," Gigi's new Mandarin album is the colaborative result of some of Chinese pop music's biggest names including super-star lyricist Lin Xi, Yao RuoLong, Li Si Song and Zheng Hua Juan. Even the versitale Takeshi Kaneshiro(Jin Cheng Wu) contributed a song especially for Gigi, a long-time friend and co-star. "Amour" features the Mandarin version of her recent Cantonese hit "Spark (Huo Hua)" --a song for which she wrote both melody and lyrics. And we think the Mandarin version of "Spark" is as beautiful a the Cantonese original. The album's title song "Amour," is the theme song for a popular Taiwanese TV commercial, and feels nostalgic and romantic; but watch out-- it's very catchy. You absolutely don't want to miss this great album!
